KyivZelenBud Deputy Director Concealed Assets Worth 9.6 Million UAH: Key Details Emerge.
Allegations Against a KyivZelenBud Official
According to Novyny.live: The deputy general director of the municipal enterprise 'KyivZelenBud' is suspected of hiding assets valued at over 9.6 million Ukrainian hryvnias. According to investigators, the official failed to disclose these assets in his annual declaration, raising red flags with law enforcement authorities. This case highlights ongoing anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine, where public officials are increasingly scrutinized for financial transparency.
Uncovered Evidence
Among the findings, the official constructed a new garden house spanning nearly 280 square meters. The estimated value of this unfinished property as of 2024 was approximately 8.6 million hryvnias. Additionally, it was revealed that he sold a 2014 BMW X5 for 700,000 hryvnias but did not report this income in his declaration. Furthermore, he failed to declare a loan amounting to 280,000 hryvnias.
Overall, analysis of the declaration indicates that the total value of hidden assets and financial obligations exceeds 2,500 subsistence minimums for able-bodied individuals. The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has already notified the official of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
