According to Novyny.live: Severe traffic disruptions occurred on the evening of January 25 along the Odesa-Reni highway, primarily caused by dense fog and extensive vehicle queues. The most significant congestion was reported on the approaches to the border with Moldova, where drivers faced wait times stretching for hours. This key route is a vital transport link for trade and travel between southwestern Ukraine and its neighbors.
A major bottleneck formed near the village of Mayaky, with a line of vehicles extending for over a kilometer. Motorists traveling toward this area experienced substantial delays that severely hampered their journeys.
Route Conditions and Official Guidance
Localized traffic delays were also recorded on the M-15 highway in the direction of Orlivka. However, officials noted that there were no queues for exiting Ukraine at the 'Reni — Giurgiulești' checkpoint, which may offer some relief for drivers planning to cross the border.
