According to Novyny.live: The Cabinet of Ministers has greenlit the creation of a Pantheon within the National Reserve 'Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.' This decision is a key component of a broader initiative to build a Ukrainian National Pantheon, a project aimed at commemorating the country’s most influential figures.
The resolution was drafted by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. The chosen location, the grounds of the historic Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery, holds deep cultural and historical significance for Ukraine.
Presidential Bill Secures Strong Parliamentary Backing
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted the bill for the Ukrainian National Pantheon to the Verkhovna Rada, where it garnered substantial support. A total of 287 lawmakers voted in favor of Bill No. 15360, reflecting broad parliamentary consensus on the initiative.
