Zelensky ordered to finalize the document on security guarantees from the USA: what does this mean.

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, instructed his negotiating team to complete the preparation and presentation of the document on security guarantees for Ukraine from the United States of America.

The head of state reported that based on a detailed report from the Ukrainian team on contacts with the American side, a work schedule for the next two weeks was agreed upon. This concerns planned meetings, preparation of necessary documents, and possible signing of agreements.

"I instructed to finalize and submit for consideration at the highest level a document on security guarantees for Ukraine from the United States. This should be a document of historical significance, and that is the level of text we are reaching now," emphasized the president.

During the discussion, attention was also paid to issues of recovery and economic development of the country. Zelensky instructed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Vice Prime Minister Taras Kachka, and Minister Oleksii Sobolev to ensure support and expertise on all economic aspects of future agreements between Ukraine and the USA, as well as in trilateral formats involving Europe.

Key parameters for the mechanisms of using funds for recovery, which will come from international partners, were defined.

The president emphasized that Ukraine is aware of the communication between the USA and Russia regarding the end of the war. However, Kyiv has clearly articulated its vision and awaits a clear signal from Moscow regarding its readiness to end the war on realistic terms.

Zelensky noted that in the absence of readiness from Russia, international pressure on the aggressor should become increasingly stringent. This particularly concerns combating the shadow tanker fleet of the Russian Federation and financial schemes for circumventing sanctions.

"If Russia chooses war, the world's response should be to maximally limit its export revenues," concluded the president.

In addition, it became known about the urgent visit of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha to the USA with the aim of ending the war.

Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing regarding a meeting with international partners regarding the supply of scarce missiles for air defense systems, as, according to the president, the issue of sky protection is extremely important.

Thus, the Ukrainian side continues to actively work on ensuring security guarantees from the USA, which is of great importance for the further stability and recovery of the country. The importance of international partnerships and support in the fight against the aggressor remains a priority for Ukraine, underscoring the determination of the authorities to achieve peace.
