The head of state noted that these issues were discussed during a meeting with Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha. He emphasized the importance of the results of Ukrainian diplomacy in 2025 and outlined key tasks for the coming year.

“The main thing is that every agreement in the interests of Ukraine, every deal, every partnership works one hundred percent,” Zelensky stressed.

The president added that the issue of rotation in the diplomatic corps is already being actively discussed, and in the near future, the Foreign Minister will present candidates for decision-making.

In addition, Zelensky announced that a new first deputy minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine would be appointed with an emphasis on ensuring stable and effective performance of the department.

“I expect proposals for a decision,” the president emphasized.

It is also worth noting that Ukraine is undergoing a process of updating the power vertical, which covers various ministries—from the Cabinet of Ministers to law enforcement agencies and the security sector.
