According to Espreso.tv: Lockheed Martin has introduced the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (PAC-3 ACE), a new missile priced under $2 million. Production could begin within 36 months, potentially reshaping air defense capabilities. For context, the current PAC-3 MSE interceptor costs around $4 million per unit. This development marks a significant step toward reducing weapon costs while boosting defense system efficiency.

U.S.-Ukraine Defense Cooperation

In May, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy formally requested a license from the United States to produce missiles for the Patriot system. This move represents a major milestone in defense collaboration between Kyiv and Washington. U.S. support remains critical for Ukraine amid ongoing security challenges.

“The United States has politically recognized Ukraine as ready to manufacture Patriots,” Zelenskyy stated.

During the NATO summit held on July 8 in Ankara, allies discussed security and partnership issues. Donald Trump confirmed Washington’s willingness to grant Ukraine the right to produce Patriot missiles, a decision that could significantly strengthen the country’s defensive capabilities.
