Zelensky stated readiness to withdraw troops: what conditions Ukraine has set.

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a conversation with European leaders, expressed readiness to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the frontline and create a demilitarized zone if Russia takes similar actions.

In exchange for this, Kyiv demands reliable security guarantees that clearly define the actions of partners if Moscow again violates the peace agreements, the Financial Times reports.

Funding for the Armed Forces and Protection

Zelensky also emphasized the importance of stable funding for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and enhancing their air defense capabilities, including the possible presence of European troops on Ukrainian territory.

The president noted that any decisions regarding the transfer of occupied territories to Russia can only be made after a referendum is held under safe conditions that ensure the rights of local residents.

Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and Peace Plan

Another important aspect of the Ukrainian plan is the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Zelensky proposes to place it under international control, and the electricity generated at the plant should be distributed between both sides of the conflict.
