Meeting of Volodymyr Zelensky with European leaders and the Ukrainian Victory Plan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced important meetings with European leaders in which he presented partners with the Ukrainian Victory Plan. He reported this in his evening address on October 11.

As part of the trip to Berlin, the President of Ukraine met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Meetings were also held with UK Prime Minister Kira Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni.

"In Germany and yesterday in one day in three countries – the UK, France, Italy – I presented our Victory Plan to the leaders of Europe. Prime Minister Starmer, President Macron, the head of the Italian government Meloni, and today – in a conversation with Olaf. All the details of our peace strategy – geopolitical, military, economic," noted the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky also emphasized the importance of support from European partners and expressed confidence in the need to unite efforts to ensure peace and compel Russia to peace. He called for strengthening Ukraine's positions and support.

The President reported receiving a new defense package from Germany, which includes air defense systems, particularly IRIS-T. He expressed gratitude to Germany for their leadership in supporting Ukraine in this area.

Furthermore, Volodymyr Zelensky had a meeting with Pope Francis in the Vatican, where they discussed the release of Ukrainian prisoners and the return of deported children. The President invited the Vatican to participate in a meeting in Canada on humanitarian issues, which will be held in the near future.
