The Defense Committee of the Council has decided to extend martial law and mobilization in Ukraine for the 16th time. The decision was made unanimously, announced Oleksiy Zheleznyak, a member of the 'Holos' party.

According to Zheleznyak, the decision on the extension of mobilization and martial law was made unanimously.

Let us remind you that on July 14, President Volodymyr Zelensky submitted draft laws to the Verkhovna Rada on the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. The documents provide for an extension of the martial law and mobilization for another 90 days — from August 7 to November 5, 2025.
