Zelensky revealed the details of the occupation of Mariupol
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his interview with the Italian newspaper Il Foglio, spoke about the horrific details of the occupation of Mariupol by Russian troops. According to him, the exact number of those killed in the city has not yet been determined.
I think it is really impossible to understand this without appropriate work right there on the ground
According to available information, Russian occupiers killed approximately 20,000 people.
Ukraine managed to return four thousand prisoners, but still thousands of people remain in captivity. Zelensky noted that the fate of residents who tried to organize strikes is especially tragic. Occupiers not only killed them but also imprisoned and tortured civilians.
These are hundreds, or thousands, or tens of thousands. Additionally, there were hostilities there and many people were injured or died under the rubble
Earlier, Zelensky also spoke about the peacekeeping role of the USA and the age of mobilization.
