According to Espreso.tv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has unveiled the results of the conference held in Gdańsk, emphasizing the significance of the agreements reached. According to him, Ukraine secured 160 deals totaling over €10 billion. Special attention was directed toward energy and infrastructure restoration efforts.
Key Agreements and Their Implications
Among the major deals signed is a $3.39 billion agreement with the World Bank, finalized on June 25.
“We discussed the arrangements: there are 160 agreements for Ukraine, with a total value exceeding €10 billion,” stated Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky also stressed the critical need to bolster air defense capabilities, particularly highlighting the demand for anti-ballistic missile systems.
“Anti-ballistic systems, missiles, and equipment for Ukraine, along with a joint European project to produce anti-ballistic technology—real results are required,” he emphasized.
The conference took place against the backdrop of significant political developments, including Cyprus taking over the presidency of the European Union and Ireland preparing for its upcoming term. Discussions also covered preparations for the NATO summit in Ankara, underscoring the importance of international collaboration in security and defense matters.
