Zelensky summed up the week in the USA: meeting with Biden, Trump, and presenting the "Victory Plan".

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in his address at the end of the 947th day of the war, summed up his visit to the USA, calling it a "busy, long, extremely important week in America".

The key moment of the visit was a meeting with former US President Donald Trump, which Zelensky characterized as "very productive and detailed." The conversation lasted almost an hour, during which the Ukrainian leader presented his "Victory Plan." "As we initially aimed, the Victory Plan was presented to both presidential candidates," Zelensky noted, also mentioning a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris. He emphasized the importance of "America directly understanding Ukraine."

The President of Ukraine detailed the results of the visit. He reported that the "Victory Plan" was presented to the American side with an explanation of each point. During numerous meetings, key issues were discussed: the range of weapons, defense package, sanctions against Russia, steps regarding Russian assets.

Particularly important was the meeting with President Biden, during which "all key things, all key decisions" were discussed. The result was obtaining an "unprecedented military package" amounting to nearly 8 billion dollars, including air defense systems before the winter.

Zelensky also held meetings in the US Congress, where he received "full support" from both parties and both chambers. In addition, new agreements were reached regarding the reconstruction of Ukraine in the G7+ format, joined by more than 30 countries and the European Union.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized the importance of ending the war in a fair way: "This Russian war needs to end, and end justly so that no aggressor ever does what Russia did." He stressed that "strong positions for Ukraine mean faster peace" and that "Russia must lose this war. Ukraine must win."

It is worth reminding that earlier during the meeting, Zelensky invited Trump to visit Ukraine, to which he agreed, calling Ukraine a "beautiful country." Trump also stated after the meeting: "President Zelensky and I want this war to end. And to end justly."

This visit and meetings with key US political figures could have a significant impact on further support for Ukraine, especially in the context of upcoming presidential elections in the US. Zelensky emphasized that now at the team level, work will continue on filling every step and decision to achieve a just peace and Ukraine's victory.
