President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian military for successful strikes on targets in Russia. He said this in his video address on August 3.

"First and foremost today – thanks to each of our warriors and everyone working in our 'defense' for strikes on Russian airfields, oil refining, and logistics," Zelensky said.

The President emphasized the effectiveness of such actions, noting that the consequences of the war initiated by the Russian Federation against Ukraine are coming back home to Russia. He also stressed that the enemy has no safe places on the occupied territory of Ukraine.

Zelensky called on Ukraine's partners to provide the country with the ability to deliver long-range strikes on Russian occupiers, depriving them of the ability to launch missiles and flood Ukraine with aerial bombings.

"We must protect the lives of our people and end the war on our Ukrainian terms. And every strike that accurately responds to Russia's aerial bombs, that destroys Russian logistics, Russian bases, that complicates the occupier's stay on our land - every such strike brings a just end to the war closer. Fair for us, for the world, for Ukraine, for everyone who values life," noted the President of Ukraine.

Ending his address, Zelensky expressed gratitude to all the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intelligence, and the SBU for their efforts in achieving such results.

Recall, on August 3, 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine sank the submarine "Rostov-on-Don" and damaged four "Triumph" air defense systems in occupied Crimea. Earlier, it was reported about a series of explosions in some regions of Russia caused by an attack from Ukraine.
