Zelensky submitted bills to extend martial law.

President Volodymyr Zelensky submitted bills to the Verkhovna Rada regarding the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. The documents provide for an extension of the term for another 90 days — from August 7, 2025 to November 5.

This became known from the card of the relevant bill, which appeared on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Ukraine plans to extend martial law again.

This concerns the next extension of the special legal regime that has been in effect since February 2022, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion.

Since then, the Verkhovna Rada has regularly made decisions to support presidential initiatives to maintain special conditions for the defense of the state.

Earlier, we reported on which categories of citizens are exempt from military conscription under general mobilization and martial law.

We also informed that the Verkhovna Rada is working on a bill regarding post-war elections. It is necessary to resolve issues related to the formation of electoral lists, electoral district commissions, and the organization of voting.
