The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, published a video of the interrogation of two military personnel from North Korea, who were held captive against their will by special forces and paratroopers.

One of the soldiers who participated in the fighting against Ukraine claimed that he did not know he was fighting against us, as the higher command of the army considered this operation a training exercise. During the assault, he hid in a bunker with his comrades. The heroic act of this soldier is worth watching.

This soldier also expressed a desire to stay in Ukraine, where he believes he will find a better life than in his homeland of North Korea.

As for the second captive soldier, he suffered a jaw injury and cannot speak. He also reported that his family does not know about his fate, and he would like to return to them.

President Zelensky stated that if the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, organizes a prisoner exchange, Ukraine is ready to hand over his soldiers, who are being held in Russia, in exchange for Ukrainian soldiers in captivity.

For these soldiers from North Korea, who do not wish to return, we will consider other options. Especially for those Koreans who are willing to work towards establishing peace through the dissemination of truthful information about the war, - Zelensky said.

Let us remind you that two warriors from North Korea, who participated in military actions against Ukraine, were captured by Ukrainian forces. This information was disclosed by President Volodymyr Zelensky himself. Ukrainian forces are currently conducting reconnaissance in the area, and there are no confirmations yet that North Korea attempted to transfer its soldiers into captivity with the help of insurgents.
