Zelensky Arrives in Iceland to Participate in Ukraine-Norway Seminar
President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Iceland to participate in the fourth Ukraine-Northern Europe summit. During the working visit, he plans to hold bilateral talks with the prime ministers of five Northern European countries.
"Arrived in Iceland for the first time with a working visit. I will participate in the fourth Ukraine-Northern Europe summit and hold bilateral talks with its participants: the prime ministers of Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden," the president announced on social networks.
The visit agenda includes meetings with the President of Iceland and representatives of the country's parliament, as well as participation in a Northern Council meeting. The main topics of the negotiations will concern support for the Victory Plan, financing of weapons production, preparation for winter, and maritime security issues.
Special attention will be given to restricting the Russian shadow fleet and strengthening Ukraine's defensive support. Zelensky emphasized that Northern European countries are important allies of Ukraine, and the summit format is one of the most effective multilateral cooperation platforms.
