According to Novyny.live: President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Yaroslav Murechko as the new deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine on January 13. This appointment marked an important step in the formation of the new leadership of the country's security block.
It should be noted that on January 13, the Verkhovna Rada also made a decision to dismiss Vasyl Maliuk from the position of head of the SBU. This decision was supported by 235 members of parliament. The decree on the appointment of Yaroslav Murechko, which received the number 47/2026, was signed by the President of Ukraine.
