Zelenskyy Details Ukraine's Mobilization Figures: 30,000-34,000 Monthly.
Zelenskyy's Remarks on Mobilization
According to Novyny.live: In an interview with Sky News, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disclosed that the country is mobilizing between 30,000 and 34,000 people each month. He contrasted this figure with Russia's mobilization, which he stated exceeds Ukraine's by approximately 10,000 individuals per month. This public disclosure of specific figures provides rare insight into the scale of the ongoing war effort.
'Ukraine mobilizes 30,000-34,000 people per month, while Russia mobilizes 10,000 more than that each month. For us, this is a significant number.' Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Zelenskyy acknowledged there are certain problems with the mobilization process carried out by the staff of territorial recruitment centers (TRCs). Separately, MP Danilo Hetmantsev added that there has been an increase in incidents of violence during mobilization procedures.
The president's statement underscores the critical need for support and resources for mobilization, as the figures indicate a substantial Russian advantage in the number of personnel being called up. Challenges within the mobilization process could negatively impact the country's overall defense capability, making their resolution a pressing priority. Concurrently, the reported rise in violent incidents points to significant social tensions that require additional attention from the authorities.
These data points highlight the severity of the situation Ukraine faces in the context of the ongoing war.
