Zelensky on the strike on Kharkiv: Russia kills civilians while partners delay decisions.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on international partners to provide assistance to Ukraine following a Russian strike with a guided aerial bomb on a residential building in Kharkiv. Zelensky emphasized that each delayed decision by international partners leads to more bombings by Russia and a threat to Ukrainian citizens.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Synehubov, 14 people were injured as a result of the attack. At least three people, including a woman and a child, are still under the rubble.
The mayor of Kharkiv reported the destruction of a building
Igor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv, reported that the bombing completely destroyed a nine-story building from the first to the sixth floor. Residents of the upper floors are now trapped, but rescuers are trying to save them. Among the injured is an 11-year-old child and a 22-year-old man in serious condition.
It was previously reported that a guided aviation bomb hit a building in the Saltivka district of Kharkiv. The explosion resulted in a power outage in part of the city.
