Zelensky suddenly decided to 'send generals into the trenches'.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during the III International Conference Grain From Ukraine, expressed his opinion regarding changes in the management of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He believes that the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, should reduce bureaucracy in the army.
'An officer must see soldiers. For me, a general who has not been in the trench is not a true general, regardless of his experience. The most difficult situation is at the front, in the trenches. Generals should be in the trenches. That's the nature of this war,' said the head of state.
Zelensky also emphasized the importance of the moral state of the military and supported the idea of transitioning to a 'corps-brigade' system if it facilitates closer ties between generals and soldiers.
The concept of reforming the Armed Forces with a transition to the 'corps-brigade' system is planned to be presented by the end of November.
Putin took the second step towards escalating the war
Additionally, we remind you: Zelensky named the main goal of Putin before Trump's inauguration.
