Zelensky convened the NSDC due to the scandal over prosecutors' disabilities.
Ukrainian prosecutors suspected of fake disabilities
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the issue of fake disabilities among prosecutors will be discussed at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. He noted that while the country is engaged in diplomatic negotiations on defense packages and resistance to Russian aggression, the situation inside the country is serious.
«This is truly an internal enemy. What is happening in the prosecutor's office with the medical-social expert commissions and the brazen actions of prosecutors who obtained fake disabilities using their connections with the MSEC», said Zelensky.
Oleksii Oliinyk, the prosecutor of Khmelnytskyi, who was also suspected of a fake disability, denied this accusation. He stated that he has health problems and received his disability long before his appointment. However, journalist Yurii Butusov emphasized that Oliinyk did not provide evidence of his injuries that led to his disability.
It was also revealed that Tatyana Krupa, head of the regional medical-social examination center in Khmelnytskyi, was exposed for illegal enrichment. Nearly 6 million dollars were found on her and her son.
Currently, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has initiated an official investigation in connection with the dissemination of information about prosecutors of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office obtaining disabilities. These facts point to a system of fake disabilities among the prosecutors of the country.
Butusov said: «disability of the 2nd group was granted to Prosecutor Oliinyk only on July 19, 2017, by a decision of the chief doctor of MSEC Krupa with the issuance of certificate series AV No. 0944598. It was granted immediately for life. And no other decisions on disability or serious injuries, starting from 2005, were presented by Oliinyk», stated the journalist.
