Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia can deploy up to 1.5 million soldiers for combat, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces number over 800,000, and other European countries have significantly fewer soldiers.

This was reported by 'Interfax-Ukraine', citing the words of the Ukrainian president during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Russia can field 1.5 million soldiers. Our Armed Forces have over 800,000 personnel. France comes second with over 200,000. Then Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. In all others, there are fewer. This is not a situation where one country can defend itself alone,' Zelensky emphasized.

The Ukrainian president pointed out that 'fighting involving North Korean soldiers is currently taking place in areas geographically closer to Davos than to Pyongyang.' According to him, Russia is turning into a kind of North Korea - 'a country where human life means nothing, but there is nuclear weapons and a burning desire to make the lives of neighbors miserable.'

Zelensky also stressed that despite having a smaller economic potential compared to Europe, Russia produces several times more ammunition and military equipment.

The Ukrainian president noted that 'Putin has signed a new strategic agreement with Iran. He already has a contract with North Korea. Who are they making such agreements against? Against you, against all of us. Against Europe, against America.'

Speaking about Europe's role in the world, Zelensky emphasized that it 'cannot afford to be second or third in line behind its allies.' According to him, 'Europe must fight for the top spot in priorities, alliances, and technological development.'

The Ukrainian president also noted that after the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump, the whole world is waiting for his further actions.
