According to ТСН: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that information policy is not a priority for the new head of his office, Kyrylo Budanov.

This information was voiced in response to questions from journalists regarding Budanov's influence on the information sphere in the country.

“I discussed with Kyrylo Budanov the priorities that are important to me. Among them, there is no information policy,” the president briefly noted.

Budanov as the head of the Office of the President

It should be noted that Budanov was appointed the new head of the president's office on January 2 this year by Zelensky's decree.

Political scientist Oleg Saakyan believes that Budanov's appointment could help change the image of former head of the Office Andriy Yermak. In the expert's opinion, Budanov enjoys a high level of trust and influence in society. His main task is to become a key liaison with the United States. Thanks to his intelligence experience, he will be able to communicate “in one language” with American special services and military personnel, which could expedite the resolution of critical issues in relations with Washington.

Thus, Kyrylo Budanov, with significant experience in intelligence, may play an important role in strengthening Ukraine's ties with the United States, especially amid growing challenges for the country. His appointment is of interest among experts monitoring changes in Ukrainian politics and international relations.
