According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian women's biathlon team is preparing for the new competitive season, which will be an important stage in the preparation for the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. Under the guidance of Mykola Zoz, eight athletes are training, among them is the Olympic champion of 2014 in the relay, Yuliya Jim.
Training process
The team leader combines group training with the team and individual sessions. The preparation began in May and includes various types of training: shooting, skiing loads, strength exercises, and running.
“The injury of Kristyna makes itself known, but this does not hinder the training process. We are only adjusting our approach to work and loads.”
Arena in Antholz
The team is focused on training at the Arena in Antholz, a well-known place for biathlon. This arena is famous for its difficult terrain and unpredictable weather, which creates serious challenges for athletes.
Olympic prospects
Ukrainian biathletes are preparing for the Ukrainian summer biathlon championship and continue to plan the next stages of preparation. Currently, Ukraine has already received 10 Olympic licenses, allowing various athletes to participate in the Olympic Games.

The season already promises to be intense, and each preparatory stage is of strategic importance for achieving high results at the Olympics.
