According to Novyny.live: In the summer of 2026, Dan Church Aid, Norwegian Church Aid, and the Myrnenebo Foundation launched a grant initiative aimed at boosting self-employment and micro-entrepreneurship in the Snihurivka community. This program offers residents up to 65,000 UAH to foster small business growth and enhance local economic activity. It targets individuals seeking to start or expand their ventures in a region facing significant economic challenges.
The initiative is open to residents of the Snihurivka community in the Bashtanka district of Mykolaiv Oblast. Applications will be accepted until July 28, 2026. Eligible activities for grant funding include:
- Growing fruits and vegetables;
- Producing meat, milk, poultry, and eggs;
- Beekeeping;
- Making cheese, semi-finished products, baked goods, and smoked items;
- Custom tailoring and clothing repair;
- Beauty industry services.
To qualify for a grant, applicants must meet several requirements. They must:
- Live within the Snihurivka community;
- Operate an active business;
- Be officially registered as self-employed;
- Demonstrate personal or family vulnerability;

- Not have received a similar grant in the past 12 months.
