Residents of Alaska demand Zelensky's participation in Trump-Putin negotiations: what is known.
Residents of Anchorage, Alaska, rallied to express their wishes for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's participation in negotiations between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
They believed that Zelensky's presence during the meeting with Trump and Putin would help achieve an agreement, especially in the context of the conflict in Ukraine with Russia.
“Russia invaded Ukraine and must go. There is nothing to negotiate. So what should Zelensky do? He just wants to confirm his borders. And the fact that he is not here – that is again colonialism”
“I think he (Zelensky, – ed.) must be here, at the negotiating table... This is about his country”
Although some participants expressed doubts about Trump's ability to make important decisions, many believed in the positive impact of Zelensky's presence at the negotiations.
The meeting between Trump and Putin is already scheduled, and expectations for the results are high. The US President has already noted that he expects important developments after this summit and hopes for a constructive dialogue with Russia.
