In the Lviv region, the harvest has begun late due to a cold spring. While harvesting the first crops, farmers noted that the yield of winter wheat and rapeseed is lower than last year's figures, while the barley yield remains stable. It is expected that corn will hit a record.
According to the latest forecast, the sown areas in the region have increased, but the yield of wheat and rapeseed has fallen. On the other hand, corn crops are actively developing, and if the weather holds up, a very good harvest of this crop can be expected.
