Mandatory certification for fourth graders
According to inkorr.com: As reported by 'Khvilya', starting from 2027, Ukrainian fourth-grade students will have to undergo a state final certification in the format of external independent evaluation. This decision has been made by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Preparation for the new initiative
Preparation for this new initiative will begin in the 2025/26 academic year. From February to April 2026, the creation of a special educational online platform for conducting final assessment is planned. After this, a testing of the system will involve 10,000 graduates of primary school.
