Oil prices rising by 40%: what else will become more expensive from October 15

According to inkorr.com: Ukrainians have received information about a possible increase in prices for essential vegetables. People's Deputy from the 'Servant of the People' party, Dmytro Solomchuk, noted that from October 15, a rise in prices is to be expected, particularly for oil, which may reach at least 40%.

This price increase will affect other products, including vegetables, meat, and milk. The reasons include the insufficient number of storage facilities for vegetables, rising feed prices for animals, high energy prices, and a lack of qualified labor.

And as for vegetables, as always. In spring, imports will prevail... And domestic production will end quite quickly. Vegetables will have a fairly high price. As for dairy and meat products, prices for grain crops and everything else are rising, both for sunflower and corn, soy, and wheat. So, a decrease in prices cannot be forecasted in any way, especially since there is a labor shortage. Business owners are already just chasing qualified workers, buying them from one another... And electricity - the price is quite high. And all this has its consequences. Of course, the main reason is the war, as a result of all this. But factors such as the cost of electricity, storage of products, and wages for workers and producers contribute to these increases...

Fortunately, according to Solomchuk's forecasts, the price of potatoes will remain stable, provided there are no storage problems.

The expected price increase for basic vegetables in Ukraine may negatively impact consumers' financial situation, especially in conditions of economic instability. The rise in prices for oil and other products will be an important factor in shaping the market situation in the country.
