According to UATV: As of March 31, 2023, the front saw 88 combat engagements, signaling an escalation in military activity. Ukrainian troops managed to push Russian invaders out of fortified positions along the Aleksandrovsk direction, reclaiming several settlements. In the past day alone, Ukrainian forces eliminated 970 Russian soldiers, highlighting heavy enemy losses.
Enemy Attacks and Casualties
Numerous assaults by Russian forces also occurred on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka fronts. Since the war began, total enemy casualties have surpassed 1,297,000 troops. During March, Ukrainian drone operators destroyed 31 artillery systems of the adversary. Military reports indicate that on March 31, Ukrainian forces eliminated:
- two tanks
- seven armored vehicles
- 61 artillery systems
- one multiple rocket launcher
- an air defense system
