186 combat clashes in a day: how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying the offensive potential of the occupiers.
The 1273rd day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, there were 186 combat clashes in 12 sections of the front.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, August 19.
Situation at the front on August 19
Ukrainian warriors are inflicting significant losses on Russian occupiers in personnel and equipment, reducing their offensive potential. The total losses of the enemy over the past day amounted to 890 people. Also destroyed were 66 artillery systems, one MLRS, 209 tactical-level drones, 123 units of automotive equipment, and one unit of special equipment.
Activity in various directions
- North-Slobbing and Kursk directions: 7 combat clashes.
- South-Slobodan direction: 10 attacks on positions.
- Kupiansk direction: 10 enemy attacks.
- Lyman direction: 26 attacks in various areas.
- Sever direction: 4 attempts to break through the defense.
- Kramatorsk direction: 4 combat clashes.
- Toretsk direction: 6 attacks in various areas.
- Pokrovsk direction: 67 assault and offensive actions.
- Novopavlivsk direction: 29 attacks in various areas.
- Huliaipole direction: enemy activity was not observed.
- Orikhiv direction: 2 repelled attacks.
- Dniprovsk direction: 7 combat clashes.
- Volyn and Polissya directions: no signs of formation of strike groups were detected.
Recall, in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the occupiers went on the offensive under the flag of the USA.
It was also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the oil pumping station 'Nikolske', which led to problems with the operation of the main oil pipeline 'Druzhba'.
Events at the front confirm the intensity of hostilities between Ukrainian troops and Russian occupiers. Eliminating the enemy from key positions and preventing their attacks supports national security and sovereignty of Ukraine.Read also
