Strike on Russian Base in Crimea

According to UATV: On March 29, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces carried out an attack on a Russian military facility in the village of Sovkhozne, Crimea. The operation resulted in the destruction of three Smerch/Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers and one self-propelled transport-loading vehicle.

The Smerch system is an older variant that fires unguided rockets up to a range of 70–90 km. In contrast, the Tornado-S is a modernized version featuring automated targeting and satellite navigation, with a strike range of 120 km. This information was confirmed by expert Robert 'Madyar' Brovdy.

Equipment Destroyed in Luhansk Region

Additionally, fuel tankers were destroyed in the Luhansk region. As of March 28, Ukrainian forces have eliminated:

  • 1,360 Russian occupiers
  • 181 vehicles
  • 65 artillery systems
  • 8 tanks
  • 1,948 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles

These events highlight ongoing intense combat along the front lines and Ukraine's continued efforts to degrade enemy equipment and manpower.

Recent Ukrainian strikes on Russian positions in Crimea and Luhansk underscore an escalation in hostilities in the region. The destruction of significant amounts of enemy hardware and personnel could impact the operational capabilities of Russian forces. These actions also reflect Ukraine's persistent drive to bolster its defense capabilities and reduce the adversary's military potential.
