470 Square Kilometers Recaptured on the Oleksandrivka Axis: Russian Advance on Kostiantynivka Halted.
Ukrainian Forces Liberate Settlements Along the Oleksandrivka Front
According to UATV: Ukrainian defense forces have reclaimed control over several towns and villages on the Oleksandrivka axis, successfully stopping a large-scale Russian offensive aimed at Kostiantynivka. This section of the front lies at the junction of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, where Ukrainian troops managed to restore authority over roughly 470 square kilometers of national territory. The area has seen intense fighting as both sides vie for strategic positions in eastern Ukraine.
Significant losses have been inflicted on Russian invading forces, with more than 11,000 enemy personnel neutralized in the process. Effective counterattack operations by Ukrainian units were decisive in pushing the adversary back from Dnipropetrovsk region lands.
According to Serhiy Bratchuk, 'Today, the enemy is being driven out thanks to the counteroffensive actions of the Defense Forces from the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region.'
Ongoing Efforts by Ukrainian Military
This development underscores the active campaign by Ukrainian forces to regain control over their sovereign territories and to thwart Russian offensive maneuvers. The liberation of settlements on the Oleksandrivka axis may signal a shift in the strategic balance along the front line, highlighting the critical need for continued defensive and offensive operations by Ukraine to stabilize the region.
It is important to note that this struggle continues amid heavy human casualties, reflecting the ferocity of the conflict.
