Ukrainian President and Slovak Prime Minister Hold Talks
According to Novyny.live: On June 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico met in Brussels. Their discussions covered European integration, energy cooperation, and the outcomes of the G7 summit held in Évian.
During the meeting, Zelenskyy highlighted the importance of diplomatic efforts to achieve peace.
“I briefed him on our diplomatic push for peace. We also talked about holding another round of Ukrainian-Slovak intergovernmental consultations.” - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Zelenskyy also expressed hope that all six negotiation clusters for Ukraine’s EU membership would be opened soon.
“We count on progress in opening the remaining clusters in the near future.” - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
