Zelensky and Trump will discuss a security guarantee agreement for Ukraine.

According to ТСН: During the meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump in Florida, the leaders will discuss important documents for concluding a peace agreement. However, it is currently unclear whether there will be an opportunity to sign them.

Discussion of Security and Economy

Zelensky emphasized that the agenda of the meeting is quite broad, including discussions on several documents related to security guarantees for Ukraine. He noted:

“There are several documents in this block, and it would be desirable to find the opportunity to discuss them all. Furthermore — an economic agreement, for now, there are basic developments, although there will be several agreements. And here we need to discuss the direction.”

Differences and Territorial Issues

Zelensky also noted that all issues where there are differences will be raised, in particular, the Ukrainian side will focus on territorial aspects. He could not confirm whether the meeting would conclude with the signing of any documents, explaining:

“I cannot currently say whether something will be ready by the end. This meeting is for refining as much as we can.”

Agreement with Four Parties

According to the president, the agreement consisting of 20 points has four parties — Ukraine, the USA, Russia, and Europe. It cannot be signed without the participation of Russia and European countries. The meeting with Trump will also discuss bilateral agreements with the USA.

Zelensky added that the agreement between Ukraine and the USA is “almost ready”:

“The question is whether to sign or not, in my opinion, that is already a secondary question, depending on how our meeting goes.”

Further Work on Documents

The president specified that work is ongoing on several documents, currently there are five.

“We want to discuss a few nuances regarding security guarantees. We need to discuss them again, there are changes to all these documents from our negotiating groups. I think in some respects we can already put a period.”

The meeting between Zelensky and Trump is an important stage in the process of peaceful settlement. Discussions on security and economic agreements may influence the further steps Ukraine will take on the international stage. The results of this meeting will determine not only domestic policy but also relations with key partners.
