152 Clashes in a Single Day: Ukrainian Forces Thwart Russian Assaults Near Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka.

According to UATV: On March 16, a total of 152 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. Ukrainian troops struck Russian forces, particularly in the areas of Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, destroying a substantial amount of enemy equipment and personnel. Notably, Russian assault attempts were reported near Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk, where Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a precision airstrike on a concentration point of Russian troops.
As a result of the fighting, Russia's 5th Combined Arms Army suffered heavy losses, significantly undermining its combat effectiveness. Over the past 24 hours, 760 Russian soldiers were eliminated, bringing the total losses of the Russian army to over 1,279,000 personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian special operations forces targeted military installations in Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia region.
Losses and Consequences
The combat operations resulted in the destruction of:
- 2 armored vehicles,
- 19 artillery systems,
- 1 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS),
- 113 other pieces of equipment.
