According to UATV: The situation on the battlefield has intensified, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces recording 171 combat engagements over the past 24 hours. Russian forces launched 56 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector alone, all of which were successfully thwarted by Ukrainian defenders. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, enemy troops are increasing pressure with heavy shelling and repeated attempts to breach defensive lines across multiple fronts.

Attacks and Shelling

In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, 94 shelling incidents were reported, along with one combat clash in the North Slobozhanskyi area. Meanwhile, three breakthrough attempts were recorded in the South Slobozhanskyi sector. The Kupiansk direction saw two attacks, the Lyman sector experienced six assaults, and the Sloviansk front faced six attempts by Russian forces to advance.

  • The Kramatorsk direction endured one assault.
  • In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 20 attacks.
  • Seven assaults were recorded in the Oleksandrivka direction.
  • Ukrainian forces repelled 17 attacks in the Huliaipole sector.
  • One assault attempt was noted in the Prydniprovskyi direction.

Since the beginning of the year up to March 26, the Russian army has suffered significant losses, totaling approximately 89,000 personnel. This heavy toll underscores the high cost of continued aggression and may influence future military strategies. The frontline remains tense, with fresh attacks and shelling indicating that active hostilities are far from over.

The escalation of combat operations on the front highlights that the conflict remains a central focus, with both sides committing substantial resources to achieve their objectives.
