Kharkiv Region to Implement Hourly Power Outage Schedules Starting January 20.
Power Outage Schedules for Kharkiv Region
According to Novyny.live: Hourly schedules for electricity blackouts will be introduced in the Kharkiv region on January 20. This measure is a response to severe strain on the power grid, which requires immediate steps to manage electricity consumption. The controlled outages will occur during specific time slots throughout the day. These disruptions are a direct consequence of Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, which have crippled the national grid.
Planned Outage Time Slots
The scheduled power cuts are planned for the following intervals:
- 12:00 AM to 1:30 AM
- 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Alternative schedule variants also include outages during these periods:
- 1:30 AM to 6:00 AM
- 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Some schedules feature another set of blackout windows:
- 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM
- 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Residents of the Kharkiv region must prepare for temporary electricity cuts during the specified hours according to the new hourly schedules. These controlled outages are a necessary step to stabilize the precarious energy situation in the region.
The implementation of hourly blackout schedules is part of a broader strategy to reduce load on the unstable power system. This decision will significantly impact daily life, requiring residents to adapt their routines and plan activities around the announced outage intervals.
