According to Novyny.live: A 79-year-old woman was killed in Odesa after being struck by a vehicle reversing from a parking space. The incident occurred on January 18 on Ivana ta Yuriia Lip Street. Preliminary reports indicate the driver, a 54-year-old man operating a Mercedes-Benz Vito, failed to see the pedestrian while executing the reverse maneuver.
The victim sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. An investigative team is currently working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision.
