UN Agency to Launch Registration for Cash Aid to Ukraine's Frontline Communities.
Financial Assistance for Residents of Ukraine's Frontline Areas
According to Novyny.live: The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has announced a cash assistance program for residents of Ukraine's frontline areas, including the Kyrykivska community, starting March 12, 2026. This initiative aims to support internally displaced persons and those who have returned from abroad. This support is part of the international community's ongoing response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war.
Registration Process and Eligibility Criteria
Registration for the aid will open on March 12, 2026. Applicants must meet specific criteria to qualify for the financial support. A key requirement is that the income per person must not exceed 6,318 Ukrainian hryvnias. This threshold applies to those seeking the aid, which will amount to nearly 11,000 hryvnias per eligible household.
To register, individuals must call 063 182 68 38 on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The UN Refugee Agency urges all who meet the vulnerability criteria to take advantage of this opportunity. Separately, in March, the Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine is also implementing an aid program that provides a payment of 2,000 hryvnias to vulnerable population groups.
This UN initiative represents a crucial step in supporting populations suffering from the consequences of the conflict in Ukraine.

Therefore, the support offered by the UN Agency, alongside other initiatives, aims to alleviate the harsh living conditions for citizens in Ukraine's frontline regions and help them rebuild their lives under difficult circumstances.
It is significant that these support programs are being implemented in parallel, enabling the mobilization of greater resources and reaching more people in need of assistance.
