Russian Anti-Drone Defense Crippled by Sugar in Fuel Tank, Says 'Atesh' Agent.
Partisan Movement 'Atesh' Claims Sabotage Operation
According to UATV: An agent of the Ukrainian partisan movement 'Atesh' has carried out a sabotage operation at a Russian communications equipment repair and storage base in the Bryansk region. The agent poured sugar into the fuel tank of a KAMAZ truck equipped with the critical 'Omut' electronic warfare system. This system is vital for Russian forces to create a protective 'dome' against Ukrainian drone attacks, a key component of modern warfare in the region.
The sabotage occurred as the vehicle was preparing to deploy toward the Sumy region. According to the 'Atesh' agent,
"the second engine of the heavy vehicle will inevitably stall right at the start of its combat mission, once the adulterated fuel enters the system."This action is intended to severely degrade the equipment's operational readiness and its ability to perform its assigned tasks on the front line.
Frontline Conditions and Wider Resistance
Separately, the 'Atesh' agent reported that the Russian army continues to build military camps in occupied Ukrainian territory. Russian occupation units on the Kherson front are also experiencing serious fuel shortages, further complicating their operations. These partisan actions highlight an intensifying resistance effort behind Russian lines, exploiting logistical weaknesses.
This specific act of sabotage underscores the ongoing and active resistance from Ukrainian partisans aiming to disrupt Russian military operations. Given the compounding issues of fuel shortages and the continued construction of military infrastructure, the frontline situation remains tense. The tactics employed by 'Atesh' agents may signal evolving resistance strategies with the potential to impact the regional balance of forces.
