The World Congress of Ukrainians is organizing the Stand with Ukraine action

On February 22, 2025, the World Congress of Ukrainians will hold the Stand with Ukraine action on the anniversary of the invasion. On this date, many countries around the world will join this action. This was reported by Serhiy Prytula from the WCU.

The WCU has created an interactive map that allows you to join the action in your city or organize your own event. Currently, the action is already taking place in 500 cities from 71 countries, and approximately 800 events are registered on the website.

«This is especially a crucial Time for all who care about the events in Ukraine! I urge everyone to go out and call people to the streets, as well as invite your friends, relatives, and acquaintances! Ukrainians around the world, show our strength together!», – wrote Prytula.

To register an event, it is necessary to provide data about the country, city, type of event, name of the organization, date, time, and contact person.

One of the main activities of the campaign will be the event «Global Alarm». Ukrainian communities around the world will sound alarms at 18:00 on February 24, 2025, local time. This signal will remind everyone that the war continues and Ukraine needs help.

Before the third anniversary of the invasion, the enemy is spreading Ukrainian propaganda trying to promote «victorious» narratives. According to intelligence reports, this is done to sow despair among Ukrainians, create chaos, and discredit Ukraine in front of its global partners. Key narratives of Russian information attacks include «The West has betrayed Ukraine», «Ukrainian authorities are illegitimate», «Corrupt officials in Ukraine are stealing billions of dollars of American aid». Furthermore, Russia plans to announce «victory» in the war against Ukraine by February 24, 2025. Even before NATO, they may declare «victory» as Kremlin propaganda has attempted to depict the war against Ukraine as a war against the Alliance.

Russian special services are taking maximum advantage of the new American administration, as well as the bilateral meeting of US and Russian delegations in Saudi Arabia on February 18, 2025, to support destabilizing information campaigns in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
