In connection with the general mobilization, citizens who have deferment or reservation are not subject to military conscription. An essential condition for avoiding mobilization is the presence of military registration documents.This was stated in a comment to RBC-Ukraine by lawyer of the legal company Riyako&Partners Kateryna Anishchenko.
What documents must conscripts have
Every conscript must have their military ID with them. This document can be in either paper form or in the mobile application 'Reserve+'. To register, one must pass the medical commission.'In case of absence of a military ID, it must also be obtained, and to do this, one must pass the medical commission. During the transitional period, while a person does not yet have this document, they are formally subject to mobilization,' -the legal expert noted.According to her, a person who has grounds for deferment but does not yet have the corresponding document can be mobilized. Once the document is obtained, the person can join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine only at their own request.
'It sometimes happens that during the process of obtaining documents for deferment or reservation, a man can be mobilized. From my practice, such cases are not isolated,' -Anishchenko said.It should be noted that the Ministry of Culture recognized the company of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk 'Supersymmetry' and LLC 'Underground Stand Up' as critically important. Representatives of these companies will be able to obtain reservation.We also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers limited regional state administrations in their right to grant enterprises the status of critically important. Now only institutions and organizations working in certain fields can obtain such status.Kateryna Anishchenko explained the rules for avoiding mobilization for citizens with deferment or reservation, emphasizing the importance of having military registration documents. Citizens who have the corresponding documents can join the Armed Forces of Ukraine only at their own request.
