Ukrainian drivers should remember that children under 150 cm in height must be transported only in special car seats. Non-compliance with this rule may result in a fine of 510 UAH, and for repeated violations - 850 UAH. However, if the child has already exceeded 150 cm, a car seat is no longer mandatory, although the child still needs to be strapped in.
This requirement is aimed at ensuring the safety of children on the road, so it is important to adhere to this rule. In addition, Ukraine plans to strengthen drivers' liability for other traffic violations, which can also lead to serious fines or loss of driving rights.
