Which decision of Elon Musk Ukrainians should be afraid of: analysis by Politico.
Ukrainian military is facing the threat of losing access to Starlink satellite internet if Elon Musk decides so. This was reported by Politico, citing a source from Glavcom.
According to the article, there is no alternative to the Starlink system. 'Ukrainians face a constant threat of satellite communication disconnection by Musk, as there are no competitors to his Starlink system,' it is noted.
Experts in the space industry emphasize that the satellite internet access system created by Musk is unique and unparalleled compared to its competitors.
It is worth noting that Ukraine has access to satellite internet through Eutelsat, funded by Germany, which serves as an alternative to Elon Musk's Starlink system.
Currently, it is also reported that the European Union plans to impose large fines on Musk's social network - for violating the law on combating illegal content and misinformation, the fine could exceed 1 billion dollars.
