ALDI launches Christmas Munch Mix for £2.49: M&S alternative is 3 times cheaper.

According to The Sun: ALDI has delighted shoppers with a new alternative to M&S products, making it an ideal choice for the festive season.

Customers have noticed the Christmas Munch Mix at the discount chain, priced 64% lower than the Sparks version.

This Munch Mix is filled with crunchy pretzels, toffee popcorn, and mini eggs, making it a great choice for festive treat boxes to share with the whole family.

175g bags cost just £2.49 – that's £4.51 cheaper than larger packs of The Original Very Merry Munch from M&S.

The new Munch Mix from ALDI is practically identical to the M&S sweets, which include chocolate popcorn, salted and dark pretzels, chocolate nuts, and caramel almonds.

460g jars of The Original Very Merry Munch from M&S are sold for £10, while refill packs of 460g go for £7.

Notably, Aldi offers its alternative for £1.42 per 100g, while the M&S version costs £1.52.

So, if you buy three bags of Munch Mix from Aldi, you can get 525g for just 47p more compared to a pack from M&S.

One excited shopper shared a photo of the treats after visiting their local Aldi.

“Christmas Munch Mix back at ALDI, with mini eggs, crunchy pretzels, toffee popcorn and other treats, here’s a closer look,”

Other shoppers actively shared their impressions of the tasty packs. One wrote: “Oh my God.”

Festive treats at Aldi

In addition to Munch Mix, Aldi offers a wide range of Christmas gifts.

Aldi has gained popularity for its quality alternatives, especially in the cosmetics category.

Consumers were thrilled when Aldi brought back a budget alternative to a popular hair product.

The Lacura Wonder Mask will be available in the Specialbuy section for just £4.99.

This product, set to hit the shelves on Thursday, September 25, is described as “perfect for shiny hair.”

The deep-conditioning treatment contains algae, blue sea kale, and hydrolyzed plant protein.

According to the product description, it “helps provide long-lasting moisture and deep conditioning.”

And for heat styling lovers, this mask also offers heat protection.

Beauty alternative

Purchases from Aldi are compared to the Money Masque from Colorwow, which is currently available at Sephora for £31.60, down from £39.50.

This product is described as “the secret weapon of renowned hairdresser Chris Appleton,” who has worked with famous celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

With similar ingredients, Money Masque is “a deep-penetrating moisturizing mask that helps strengthen, restore, and renew your hair's elasticity in just three minutes.”

Manufacturers also call this product “the best treatment for dry, dehydrated, or damaged hair that leaves hair smooth and shiny without weighing it down.”

Aldi Store Openings

Unlike many retailers, Aldi plans to open new locations.

The brand has identified 11 areas for new stores.

Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of National Property at Aldi, noted: 'We are now opening on average one new store a week until the end of 2025, showing how ambitious our plans for store expansion are, which will help us reach millions of new customers.'
