Parents will receive a one-Time payment of 10,320 hryvnias, and then monthly payments of 860 hryvnias will continue for three years.
There is also a payment system for children who are in foster care or guardianship. The amount of such payments will depend on the age of the child and the presence of disability. For preschool-age children, the payment will amount to 5,126 hryvnias, while for school-age children it will be 6,392 hryvnias. For children with disabilities, the payment amounts increase to 6,407.50 hryvnias for children under 6 years old and up to 7,990 hryvnias for children from 6 to 18 years old.
Assistance is also provided for families where one parent does not pay alimony. The payments are determined based on the age of the child and have a maximum amount of 1,281.50 hryvnias for preschool-age children and 1,598 hryvnias for school-age children.
The actual amount of assistance will be determined individually for each family, depending on the difference between the subsistence minimum for a child of the appropriate age and the average income per family member.
