According to The Sun: The famous American restaurant chain specializing in fish and chips, Captain D's, has announced the opening of its first outlet in Britain. The restaurant will be located in the Westwood Cross shopping center in Broadstairs, Kent, and will begin operations on Monday, October 20.

This restaurant will be part of a new entertainment complex set to open at the site of the former Debenhams, next to Hollywood Bowl and Taco Bell.

Founded in 1969 in Tennessee, Captain D's has become a popular fast-food chain in the USA, renowned for its seafood offerings. Today, the company operates more than 530 restaurants across 23 states.

Consumers are actively sharing positive reviews about these restaurants on social media. One person noted:

The brand is famous for its crispy fish sandwiches, fire-grilled fish, as well as seafood platters that include crispy shrimp and stuffed crab shells.

Captain D's has signed a deal to open 20 restaurants in Britain, planning to expand its network across the country.

It is worth noting that Captain D's is not the only American brand actively expanding in Britain. Other well-known chains, such as Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, and Dave's Hot Chicken, have also successfully opened their outlets in this country.
