Anti-Ballistic Coalition Meeting
According to Espreso.tv: On July 9, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host a gathering of the anti-ballistic coalition, chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Labour leader Keir Starmer, and German Christian Democratic Union leader Friedrich Merz. The summit, set to begin at 5:00 PM Paris time, will address protecting Ukraine from ballistic threats, defense industry cooperation, and security guarantees. At least 25 heads of state and government are expected to attend, aiming to solidify agreements reached during the G7 summit in Évian. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that the coalition’s inaugural session will also take place on July 9.
Security Collaboration
Additionally, eight countries are prepared to join the Freya project. A key highlight underscoring defense efforts is Fire Point’s announcement of successful tests for the FP-7.x missile. These developments signal a ramp-up in international security and defense cooperation.
This anti-ballistic coalition meeting marks a significant step in strengthening Ukraine’s defensive posture amid rising threats. It reaffirms participating nations’ commitments to supporting Ukraine and actively collaborating on security—a critical response to current geopolitical challenges. Such initiatives could bolster international backing for Ukraine and enhance regional stability.
