According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine has unveiled a sweeping government reshuffle that includes a new prime minister and a new head of Naftogaz. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Yulia Svyrydenko will leave her post as prime minister. She may, however, take on the role of Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States.
Other top positions are also set to change. Serhiy Koretskyi is expected to become the new chairman of Naftogaz. These personnel changes come at a time when Ukraine is pushing forward with its reform agenda.
“It is also important for us that reform work continues, because we want to advance the enlargement program.” - Kaja Kallas
She also stressed the importance of working with the newly appointed government officials: “At the same time, we need to cooperate with those people appointed by the people or the government.” These shifts could significantly impact the country’s political landscape and the progress of state reforms.
